My work is more documentary than photography. I do not conform to the strict confines of studio photography.
The images, always an expression of my environment, painting with light, blocks of color. Right angles sometimes diagonal sometimes the rule of three, a natural golden section the suggestion of a story. Sometimes black and white, often for snow or rain.
Black and white gives me inspiration and challenges me to seek Color on a Gray Day in New York City, a museum of people and buildings.
Photographing the Photographers shows how we are working. Helping Hands reminding us what we often take for granted has been provided by many. Corner Office evolved from the idea that each corner is also a crossroads. Duos details that the city is not necessarily a cold, lonely place.
